Many things happening on the publishing front.   First of all, I had the book all laid up 3/5 ready, and just one day before returning for a week and a half's visit to Victoria and - my documents disappear into cyber-space!   I am sure they will (somehow) be recoverable; it's just I don't have the time to work on it.   Just a short while ago there was an information session on self-publishing that I set off to see (check out  http://www.boolarongpress.com.au/content/whoweare/  to detail future sessions for those interested).   It's one of those things: if one lives north of the Brisbane River, one tends to become familiar with that part of the city, and likewise if one lives south....   I am outside the (northern) boundaries of Brisbane, the seminar was on the south, and - yes, I'm sure if you know me, you guessed it - I got hopelessly lost and missed the session!   (I'd even taken a 'Google Map' to prevent that happening!   Maybe I need to invest in those computerised tracking devises...?!)  

I was also unable to get time off work to attend the many recent Comic Events happening around this time of the year.  e.g. Super Nova, etc.    All of these events which on varying occasions became somewhat frustrating...until I sorted my priorities out right.   The major one: why am I taking time off from everything ("AIr Hawk", work, emails, this web-site...)???   Yes, Lovely Little Lollie, who doesn't moan and complain; simply taking her disadvantage in her stride, and who is an absoute joy.   I am off to care for her, with another period of time in the south.   And what have I got to worry about after all??   Clearly, the book and all the other frustrations are just going to have to wait another day....
