23 years ago today my youngest daughter Rosanna was born; ....around about the same time the First Issue of John Dixon's Air Hawk Magazine was launched. Just a few weeks ago, Rosanna gave birth to her youngest daughter! Carlene and I have just returned from Cairns to catch up with our youngest grand-daughter, Kira ....just around about the same time that John Dixon, Air Hawk and the Flying Doctor is about to be launched!
Yes, you heard right! Just in case you had been thinking I had become distracted with all the other Australian comics being published lately.... The final proofs have been corrected and John Dixon, Air Hawk and the Flying Doctor, the book, is ready to print!
Our tickets have been booked to head off to the US of A in late June, where COMICOZ will present the very first copy of the book to John Dixon! Everyone who has pre-ordered a copy can expect to see it in the mail-box soon after our Australian return on (or about) the middle of July....!!
