Eighth Issue - described as Winter 2016 Edition - is actually the ninth in the series.
Hoping that Australian newsagent readers would yearn for the continued adventures of Magpie, I invited Frantz Kantor to supply the colour cover to this issue. What's not to like? It is absolutely brilliant!
Inside was just as thrilling: 16 black and white stories from Stuart Walsh and the penultimate episode of Alisha Jade's serial Seven. 28 colour pages (16 on nice shiny glossy paper!) featured the second episodes of both Magpie by Andrez Bergen and Frantz Kantor, and Preston Peace by Jason Towers and Owen Heitmann. Other colour stories were by Dave Dye Antoinette Rydyr, and Paul Bradford and Austin Mengler.
And the core of all these issues of Oi Oi Oi! once again working together - Ryan McDonald-Smith. Designing, and Nat Karmichael Editing.
I still have a good supply of this issue available presently, so the price reflects that.
This comic was specifically targeted to an all-ages audience, so no-one should be offended by any of the themes inside. It's simply a good Aussie comic!
